Winding down....

We are slowly winding down here and as I sit and have my morning coffee looking out on the water I know I am going to miss this lovely view. It is one of those  calm mornings where the water is has barely a ripple and it perfectly reflects images of the boats and buildings. The sky is blue, the sun already bright and shining and the air is heating up. The stillness is calming and it reminds me to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. I marvel at a small brown and white wren like bird that has landed on the sea wall who is precariously perched on the edge leaning forward but does not fall in.  Yes I will miss it here, but look forward to home , family and friends.
